  Jim started out as a fitter then joined the army (REME) ending up, twenty three years later as a Warrant Officer First Class, having served in Malaya, Germany and in the UK. He then worked as a Project Manager on World Bank funded projects, mainly in Africa (Sudan, Nigeria, Gambia). [7] He passed away at 17.25 hrs on 24th September, surrounded by family.
