  Yes, Walter Laukeman was my grandma's first husband. The story goes that my grandmother and he were friends with my grandfather and his first wife. When my grandfather got divorced which was scandalous enough, he started dating my grandmother and that apparently caused a whole thing lol. But then they were married for over 50 years. She was working in Wallace, Idaho at the hardware store at the time. It's still there but it's an antique shop now. Anyway, she said that he started coming in so often that she got the idea he wasn't just there for hardware [2]
